I hate doing double posts like this in this blog, but I just had a crazy idea.

Game TV. It's like TV with channels and stuff, but your remote acts as a controller, and you interact directly with the various programs of your choosing. Of course it would have "commercials" and other advertisements, but that's when you can change the channel just like you would a TV. See what else is on if the channel your on doesn't fancy you.

Just like TV, though, it would probably start off small, and then you would just have to pray that various networks dive into it, or networks are created to get into this Game TV. It would only be great after you get 50 channels or so.

And as for the ideas that go into this... that'd be up to the networks. Different timeslots for different games.

I bet it'd give a job for a TON of game developers, and I imagine something of this size wouldn't be able to take off for a good while from now. A good good good while. Maybe 20 years at least. Maybe sooner... but I dunno how good of quality it'd be. 

Now wouldn't THAT be the future? Yes.
