Game TV Idea (continued)

Just to expand on it a little more... I was about to fall asleep and I was thinking about how TV got started off. Game Shows were pretty popular at that time, and it would be possible for a certain game show channel to have multiple servers/rooms where You are 2 or 3 other people are the contestants. Just answering questions would be kind of boring... but if it were more "Dog Eat Dog" style, or even to compare it to a video game, "Mario Party" style. The idea that you do various mini-games and "may the best gamer win" kind of deal.

All those game shows have prizes, and the only thing I could think for this would to have a highscore system. And the idea of unlocking other game shows would have to be thought about, but I don't know if that one would work since you're paying for this stuff.

I thought about how it'd realistically work, and it'd probably just have to have some kind of harddrive with it, and you "download" the channels. Some channels would be single player types, or even "MMO" types, either you're playing in your own copy of the game, and it has a set story, or a changing one according to how you go through it (Heh, with that I may as well call it Interactive TV instead of 'Game TV'). Blah blah blah lots of ideas people can do, etc, etc. RPG's. Fighters. Platformers. All different channels.

The cost of developing games nowadays would probably make this Game TV thing pretty expensive to pay for, since you're getting multiple channels. That's probably one of the biggest obstacles in a lot of ideas. Money.
